Africa is as it wants to be

Only non-Africans find fault with Africa. We have created a continent in our own image, it is thwe way we will it. Potholes and broken, decaying stuff does not worry us unduly. We don't do nukes and we don't wreck the atmosphere. W take aid money from the fools that hand it to us because we don't have the collective will to resist hand-outs, but we don't respect the fools who put themselves above us because they have more money.

We do have a few bad politicians, but the concept of 'politician' was foisted upon us by the whites, those of superior technology and higher moral standing, starting with Leopold and finishing with Dubya. We will take care of our bad guys in our own way, in time.

We have AIDS but we don't really give a dam. Life is short and AIDS will make it shorter and we're a little slack about condoms, yes. But we don't have that rigid obsessive pre-occupation with the future and the rape that we must commit on our neighbours to advance material position in a facile shallow plastic and heartless society.
